I believe integrating energy-dependent tech into everything is not the only way forward, there could be an alternate future that's low tech but intelligent. A future state where the design will work with natural principles and old wisdom to provide sustainable green solutions for contemporary needs.
Eco-Home is a compact planter made of Makrana Marble using Indian marble craft technique, it consists of a stable outer container with a cylindrical water reservoir in the middle. The water reservoir slowly seeps water from a hole at its bottom and keeps the coir layer at the base moist all the time. The coir around the water reservoir brings the moisture up due to capillary action and gives water and support for roots and stems. Makrana marble prevents water seepage due to its unique composition and its all weatherproof. This product will bring the user more closer to witness the natural materials and nature itself.
